I came to Portland, Oregon many moons ago to be an art school kid, where I fell in love with video installation and the magic of creating spaces for people to experience art together. Not long after, I was drawn into the underground music scene, invited to make visuals for a rave, and instantly captivated by how every person in the room shaped the experience.

I went deeper down the video rabbit hole while working at a cable access TV station, where a dear friend introduced me to glitch, video processing, and synthesis. For the first time, I experienced video as something tactile. Enthralled, I explored other hands-on and performative approaches like liquid light and shadow dancing.
Those early experiments laid the groundwork for the visuals I create today, sparked by the people, the music, and the connections we share in the wild.
